  • 1 box (19.8 oz) brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup crushed toffee bits (such as Heath bars)
  • Additional chocolate chips (optional) for topping
  • Additional toffee bits (optional) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Do not overbake.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.
  7. While warm, poke holes all over the top of the brownies with a fork.
  8. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top, followed by the caramel sauce. Spread gently if needed.
  9. Allow brownies to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  10. Spread whipped topping evenly over the chilled brownies.
  11. Sprinkle crushed toffee bits on top. Add optional chocolate chips and toffee bits for extra flair.
  12. Cut into squares and serve cold or at room temperature.
