Cheesy Garlic Tomato Crescent Rolls: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
  • 12 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it on a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles as indicated on the package.
  4. Add Filling: Place a generous spoonful of the cheese and tomato mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, roll the dough towards the point, encasing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart for even baking.
  7. Brush with Olive Oil: For a golden finish, lightly brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Cool Slightly: Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.
  10. Garnish: If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
