Ingredients
Scale
1 can of crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
1–2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Unroll Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it on a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles as indicated on the package.
Add Filling: Place a generous spoonful of the cheese and tomato mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, roll the dough towards the point, encasing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart for even baking.
Brush with Olive Oil: For a golden finish, lightly brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Cool Slightly: Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.
Garnish: If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
