Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in paprika, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Mix well.
  5. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Boil diced potatoes in a separate pot for 10-15 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
  7. Layer the ground beef mixture in a large baking dish. Top with the boiled potatoes.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the potatoes.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley.
