- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: diced bell peppers, onions, or jalapeños for added flavor
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with the butter and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the breakfast sausage until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the sausage. Cook over medium heat, stirring gently until the eggs are fully cooked.
- Open the package of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.
- Place half of the biscuits in the greased baking dish. Spoon the sausage and egg mixture evenly over them, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place the remaining half of the biscuits on top of the cheese.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Once baked, let the sliders cool for a few minutes. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
