  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup cooked bacon or sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, making sure to seal the seams.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon or sausage until crispy. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Stir in the cooked meat, cheese, and any optional vegetables like bell peppers or onions into the egg mixture.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough in the baking dish.
  7. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
