This Christmas Tree Cake Trifle is the ultimate no-bake dessert that steals the show. Layers of soft Little Debbie cakes, creamy cheesecake pudding, and fluffy whipped topping create a dreamy, colorful centerpiece.

  • 10 oz Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (28 cakes total), chopped
  • 12 oz cheesecake instant pudding mix
  • 6 cups cold milk
  • 24 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • Red gel writing icing (for decorating layers)
  • Green sanding sugar
  • Red food coloring (for optional pink layer effect)
  • Crushed peppermint or mini candy canes for crunch
  • White chocolate chips or shaved chocolate
  • Chopped strawberries or raspberries for fruity bursts

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together cheesecake pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
  2. Fold in 16 oz of Cool Whip to create a smooth, creamy filling. Divide the mixture in two; tint one half with a drop of red food coloring for a soft pink hue.
  3. Base layer of chopped Christmas Tree Cakes.
  4. Layer of white cheesecake pudding mixture.
  5. Swirl of red gel icing and a sprinkle of green sugar.
  6. Repeat with chopped cakes, pink pudding mix, and more festive toppings.
  7. Finish the top with remaining Cool Whip, piped or spread. Decorate with leftover cakes (halved), extra icing, sanding sugar, and crushed peppermint.
  8. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving for best texture.
