Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Make the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until well combined. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  3. Layer the Ingredients: Sprinkle the shredded coconut evenly over the crust. Next, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips, followed by the cherry pie filling. Drizzle the vanilla extract over the filling.
  4. Add Nuts: Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the top of the cherry filling for added crunch and flavor.
  5. Prepare Egg Mixture: In a small bowl, beat the egg. Pour it evenly over the top of the layered ingredients to help bind everything together.
