  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreos)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in crushed chocolate sandwich cookies evenly into the dough.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto prepared baking sheets, spaced apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Let cool before transferring to wire racks.
