1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
Slice flank steak thinly against the grain for tenderness. Mince garlic and ginger.
In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add beef in batches; sear until browned (about 2 minutes). Remove from skillet.
Lower heat and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant (about 1 minute). Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes; pour into skillet.
Return beef to the skillet; stir to coat in sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through.
Serve over cooked rice or noodles, drizzled with remaining sauce.
