Incredible Philly Cheesesteak Pizza recipe that combines classic flavors in a delicious dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak or sirloin
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Increase the heat to medium-high. Season the thinly sliced steak with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned but still slightly pink. Remove from heat.
  4. On a pizza stone or baking sheet, spread out the pizza crust. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese on the crust.
  5. Evenly distribute the cooked steak, sautéed onions, and bell peppers over the cheese.
  6. Sprinkle the provolone cheese on top of the steak and vegetables.
  7. Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing it into wedges.
  9. If desired, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes on top for an added kick.

Notes
