Ingredients
Scale
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
Lightly grease the slow cooker with cooking spray or line it with a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Lay the salmon fillets in the slow cooker, skin-side down.
Drizzle the honey garlic mixture over the salmon, ensuring the fillets are well coated.
Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or on high for 1 to 1.5 hours, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
If desired, baste the salmon with the sauce halfway through cooking for added flavor.
Once cooked, carefully transfer the salmon to a serving platter. Drizzle with the remaining glaze from the slow cooker and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
