Soft, chewy, and packed with chunks of gooey Snickers bars, these homemade Snickers bar cookies are a delightful candy bar-inspired treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped Snickers bars

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  4. Stir in flour and baking soda until just combined.
  5. Fold in chopped Snickers bars.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between them.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a bakery-style look, press a few extra Snickers chunks onto the top of each dough ball before baking.
  • Chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking can help prevent excess spread.
  • To get defined chunks of Snickers, chop the candy bars while they are very cold or partially frozen.
