Creepy Deviled Eggs for Halloween are a deliciously spooky twist on a classic appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 3 drops green food coloring
  • 12 pitted black olives (for decoration)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, turn off heat, cover, and let sit for 12-15 minutes.
  2. Cool and peel: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes, then peel under running water.
  3. Prepare the filling: Halve the eggs lengthwise, scoop out yolks into a bowl, add mayonnaise, mustard, green food coloring, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
  4. Fill egg whites: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  5. Create spooky eyes: Slice olives and place one slice on top of each egg as an ‘eye.’
  6. Chill and serve: Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
