Strawberry Crackle Salad is a no-bake dessert featuring a buttery pretzel crust, a creamy whipped layer, and a fresh strawberry gelatin topping. It’s the perfect creamy and crunchy treat for potlucks, holidays, and summer gatherings.

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels or cookies
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 12 tablespoons sugar (optional, if using pretzels)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush pretzels or cookies and mix with melted butter and sugar. Press into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes and cool completely.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and mix until creamy. Gently fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over the cooled crust, sealing edges.
  3. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water and let cool slightly. Fold in sliced strawberries.
  4. Pour strawberry mixture over the cream layer. Spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set. Slice and serve chilled.
