Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef or turkey
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup ranch dressing
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup crescent roll dough (1 tube)
½ cup diced tomatoes (optional)
¼ cup sliced green onions (optional)
Cooking spray
Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, or salsa
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the taco seasoning according to the package instructions. Add water if needed. Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
Remove from heat and mix in the ranch dressing, ensuring the meat is well-coated.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
Place about a tablespoon of the meat mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Add a sprinkle of shredded cheese and optional toppings like diced tomatoes or green onions.
Starting at the wide end, roll the dough towards the pointed end, encasing the filling. Place each rolled bite seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the bites are golden brown and cooked through.
