Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground beef
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup diced onions
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
1 bag (9.5 oz) Doritos (Nacho Cheese flavor)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the diced onions and cook until they are translucent. If using, add the frozen mixed vegetables and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef and vegetables with the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread half of the beef mixture evenly across the bottom. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Crush half of the Doritos and layer them over the cheese.
Add the remaining beef mixture on top, followed by the rest of the cheese and crushed Doritos.
Place the casserole in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Once out of the oven, let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
