Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef or turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 cup apple cider
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Mix until well combined.
Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
In a medium saucepan, combine the apple cider, maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Stir over medium heat until well mixed.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
Remove the meatballs from the oven and pour the apple cider maple sauce over them. Toss gently to coat.
Return the meatballs to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize slightly.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
