- 2 lbs chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on for best flavor)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust for spice level)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, soak the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
