Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Add the wings and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Spread the seasoned wings out in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t crowded.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking and browning.
  6. While the wings bake, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Once the wings are crispy and cooked through, remove them from the oven. Drizzle the garlic butter over the wings and toss to coat well.
  8. Transfer the Cajun garlic chicken wings to a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For an even richer taste, marinate the wings in the Cajun seasoning and garlic overnight.
  • Always serve your Cajun Garlic Chicken Wings hot from the oven for the best flavor and texture.
  • Don’t hesitate to add your favorite spices or herbs for a unique twist, such as thyme or oregano.
  • Pair with pickles on the side for a refreshing crunch.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
