Cheesy Sloppy Joe Garlic Bread is the ultimate comfort food—crispy garlic bread topped with saucy ground beef and gooey cheese, ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup sloppy joe sauce (or tomato sauce + ketchup mix)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 loaf garlic bread (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella or mozzarella-cheddar blend
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic, then stir in sloppy joe sauce and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Place garlic bread slices on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  5. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture generously over each slice of bread and sprinkle cheese evenly on top.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil 1–2 minutes for golden edges.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately while hot.
