Ingredients
Scale
1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)
Salsa or sour cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) to ensure a crispy crust.
Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips. In a bowl, toss them with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the seasoned chicken. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink. Remove from heat.
In the same skillet, add sliced bell pepper and onion. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp. Remove from heat.
On a pizza stone or baking sheet, lay out the pre-made pizza crust.
Spread the cooked chicken evenly over the crust. Top with sautéed vegetables.
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously over the top.
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
Once baked, remove from the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
Cut the pizza into slices and serve hot with salsa or sour cream on the side.
