Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pillows are a delightful dish featuring tender shredded chicken wrapped in flaky pastry and topped with a rich, savory Parmesan sauce. This recipe is easy to make and perfect for a comforting family meal or impressive appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate the triangles and press each triangle into a larger triangle to form a larger surface.
  4. Spoon some of the chicken mixture onto the larger triangle.
  5. Fold the edges of the triangle over the filling. Pinch the seams to seal tightly. Place sealed pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake the chicken pillows in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese over low heat. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  8. Once the chicken pillows are done and golden, remove them from the oven. Drizzle or pour the creamy Parmesan sauce over the pillows.
  9. Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top before serving for an appealing touch.
