- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)

- In a small bowl, mix the warm milk with the active dry yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Add the yeast mixture and wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
