Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Optional: additional parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
Using your hands, form the mixture into small meatballs, approximately 1 inch in diameter. Place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
While the meatballs are baking, combine the cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large serving bowl. Pour the warm cranberry sauce over the meatballs, gently tossing to coat them evenly.
If desired, garnish with additional parsley for a pop of color.
