  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups small pasta shells
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta shells and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. To the skillet, add the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine, then bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet. Stir until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.
  7. Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
