- 2 pounds ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade)
- 1 cup beef broth (or chicken broth)
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (14.5 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the ground beef (or turkey) and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
