Decadent Millionaire’s Tiramisu: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe!

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 3 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
  • Dark chocolate shavings or grated chocolate, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using). Set aside to cool.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.
  3. Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the egg yolk mixture until smooth and well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  5. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated. Be gentle to maintain the airy texture.
  6. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  7. In a serving dish, place half of the soaked ladyfingers in a single layer. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  9. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best flavor development.
  10. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings or grated chocolate, if desired.
