Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn (canned or frozen)
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers (any color)
  • ½ cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced (for topping)
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and a few tablespoons of water. Cook for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
  4. Place your pre-made pizza crust on a baking tray or pizza stone.
  5. Evenly spread the salsa over the pizza crust as the base sauce.
  6. Top the salsa with the seasoned ground beef mixture, spreading it evenly across the pizza.
  7. Sprinkle the black beans and corn over the beef layer.
  8. Generously cover the top with shredded Mexican cheese blend.
  9. Layer the chopped bell peppers and black olives if using.
  10. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Once done, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  12. Top with sliced avocado and fresh cilantro before slicing.
  13. Cut into slices and serve with sour cream on the side.
