Garlic Butter Pasta: An Incredible One Pot Recipe with 5 Ingredients

8 ounces spaghetti or any pasta of your choice
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the rest.
In the same pot, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt.
Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
Add the drained pasta to the pot. Toss to coat the pasta in the garlic butter sauce.
If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
Sprinkle with salt and toss again to combine.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
