Ingredients
Scale
1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1–2 tbsp hot sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Coat each chicken strip evenly in the flour mixture. Shake off excess and set aside on a plate.
In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and vegetable oil. Heat over medium heat until simmering. Stir for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken strips in batches for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Place cooked chicken strips in a large bowl. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing, hot sauce, chili powder, and lime juice. Stir until well mixed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
Adjust hot sauce in the chili ranch sauce to your spice preference.
