Ingredients
Scale
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda until well combined.
In another bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.
Gently fold in the hot fudge sauce and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, slice the bread into thick pieces for serving.
