Ingredients
Scale
1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
½ cup hot honey
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Optional: Fresh mozzarella cheese, arugula, or sliced prosciutto
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
Prepare the crust: If using homemade pizza dough, roll it out to your desired thickness. If using store-bought, follow package instructions for preparation.
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Evenly spread the ricotta mixture over the prepared pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top of the ricotta for added flavor.
Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
Once the pizza is out of the oven, generously drizzle hot honey over the top.
Top with fresh basil leaves for added flavor and color.
If desired, add fresh mozzarella, arugula, or sliced prosciutto for extra richness.
Allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing into wedges. Serve immediately.
Notes
Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
