1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (190g)
1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
½ tsp baking soda
½ cup unsalted butter, melted (113g)
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf or round cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Stir in the melted butter, then add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Gradually fold this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow cooling for ten minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
