Ingredients
Scale
12 oz bowtie pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
Gradually add the shredded mozzarella cheese to the sauce, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the cooked bowtie pasta and Italian seasoning. Toss everything together until well coated with the sauce.
Taste the dish and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or Italian seasoning as desired.
Remove from heat, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
