  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with butter.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper; stir until well mixed.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over them and sprinkle with half of the cheese. Repeat layers.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
