  • 1 box (3 oz) strawberry jello
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a rectangular baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add eggs and milk; blend until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool the cake completely, then poke holes throughout the surface.
  6. Prepare strawberry jello according to package instructions; refrigerate until slightly thickened.
