  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Trim any excess fat from the chicken breasts and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub this seasoning mix evenly over the chicken breasts.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the chicken broth and lemon juice over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well-coated.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  6. Once cooked, the chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Use a meat thermometer to ensure accuracy.
