Mushroom Pizza with Fresh Herbs: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe for You

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms (sliced, such as cremini or shiitake)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Cornmeal (for dusting the pizza stone or baking sheet)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) if using a pizza stone or 450°F (230°C) for a baking sheet.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet dusted with cornmeal.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and tender. Stir in the minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the prepared pizza dough, followed by the sautéed mushrooms.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the mushrooms for added flavor.
  6. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Once the pizza is out of the oven, sprinkle the chopped basil and parsley over the top.
  8. Allow the pizza to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing it into wedges.
  9. Enjoy your Mushroom Pizza with Fresh Herbs while it’s warm for the best flavor and texture.
