Homemade Pesto Burrata Pizza with Pepperoni: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup basil pesto (homemade or store-bought)
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, usually about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough onto a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.
  4. Spread the basil pesto evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and distribute it over the pesto. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  6. Arrange the pepperoni slices evenly across the pizza, ensuring that every bite has that savory flavor.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top for an extra layer of flavor.
  8. Lightly drizzle olive oil over the pizza for added richness.
  9. Using a pizza peel or the parchment paper, carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
  11. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice it into wedges.
  12. Top with fresh basil leaves and season with salt and pepper to taste.
