4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
Add chopped parsley, thyme, oregano, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the seared chicken breasts back into the skillet, ensuring they are submerged in the sauce.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Remove from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
