Ingredients
Scale
1 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces (450g)
2 cups Green cabbage, shredded
1 cup Cooked rice (white or brown)
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Chili garlic sauce
1 teaspoon Ginger, minced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Sesame oil
1 teaspoon Sugar
to taste Salt and pepper
to taste Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
to taste Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and sugar. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and browned.
Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet with the chicken. Stir well and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender but still crisp.
While the chicken and cabbage are cooking, prepare the cooked rice according to package instructions if not already cooked.
Divide the cooked rice among serving bowls. Top each bowl with the spicy chicken and cabbage mixture.
Sprinkle sliced green onions and sesame seeds over the top for added flavor and presentation.
Enjoy your Spicy Chicken, Cabbage, and Rice Bowls warm, drizzled with extra chili garlic sauce if desired.
